Owing our namesake to the historic Herefordshire farm called Gattertop that dates back to 1086. All the organic ingredients used to flavour premium British vodka are hand-picked from orchards that are steeped in history.

To support the growing demand and overall growth of the business, Gattertop Drinks is looking for an On-Trade Sales Manager, with at least 3 years of experience within the drinks industry, ideally spirits, to join our fast-moving, young, dynamic and highly motivated team and help grow sales for our award-winning vodkas across the UK.

What we're looking for

Working in partnership with the Sales Director and sales team, the outline of the Brand Ambassador role is to engage, introduce, train and evolve new and existing on-trade partners to drive the rate of sale. 

This role is for someone who is not only hands-on and commercially-minded but sociable and enthusiastic. The right candidate will be happy to be part of a team yet a self-starter who is strategic and brings bags of energy to the role.

Core responsibilities 

  • To strengthen the position of Gattertop Drinks behind the bars of new and existing On-Trade accounts within London and UK. 
  • Assist in executing a strong On-Trade sales strategy.
  • Develop scalable initiatives to support the brand and it’s listing with special focus on prestige On-Trade accounts.
  • Explore and identify new accounts and convert bartenders who do not know Gattertop Drinks and justify the placing of our premium vodkas behind the bar and within cocktail menus.
  • Cultivate relationships with key trade decision makers, influential bars and bartenders to increase opportunities for the sales teams.
  • Work closely with the sale and marketing team to formulate and implement brand and communications.
  • Visit new and existing venues to help improve brand presence & prominence.
  • Help with the development of cocktail and drinks serves for our vodka range. 
  • Host tastings and training for new On-Trade accounts.
  • Sales support for internal sales meetings.
  • Be confident and happy to assist in events, trade shows & selected events.
  • Support brand events & initiatives on social media.
  • Maintain an organised CRM to log sales pipeline.

  • You have brilliant interpersonal and influencing skills, and understand the reason why networking is so vital to driving sales.
  • You have experience working behind the bar and creating cocktails.
  • You have an existing network and influential contacts within the UK’s On-Trade.

  • You have the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage both your time and your workload.
  • You love vodka and can see the considerable opportunity for a premium vodka brand off the back of the gin boom over these last few years. 


  • A driving licence
  • Previous experience working with luxury or premium spirit brands
  • Ideally based in London
