WOODLAND CARBON CODE and VCS BUDDYING PROJECT

Under the Woodland Carbon Code and VSC budding projects guarantee, we offset all carbon during the manufacturing and shipping process. By following the sustainable practices outlined by the woodland carbon code, for every case sold we plant trees to ensure emissions are reduced.

THE WOODLAND TRUST

Gattertop Drinks Co has also partnered with The Woodland Trust, committing to sustainable practices such as planting, protecting, and restoring UK woodland and trees.

HEREFORDSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST

By partnering with the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust we commit to helping conserve Herefordshire orchards, improving habitats and engaging people of all ages to take an interest in their local area and wildlife.

Earth Day 2022 saw the launch of ‘Know Your Roots’ announcing our partnership with the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust on a campaign that seeks to engage and inspire our local community and beyond on all things orchard conservation.

SOIL ASSOCIATION

Being affiliated with the Soil Association provides a certified organic license for our orchards at Gattertop. Being certified organic supports a thriving population of birds, butterflies, and the introduction of beehives has ensured a perfect environment for pollination.

RECYCLABLE AND SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Our labels and marketing literature are either made from recycled paper or crushed organic waste, giving the paper a natural hue depending on the type of organic matter used. We have also committed to a plastic-free policy ensuring all of our packaging materials are sustainable.
