On 22nd February, Off The Rack x The Sire took over Cloth Restaurant for a one-night-only dining experience, bringing together exquisite food, expertly paired wines, and, of course, Gattertop cocktails to set the scene.

Curated by Harvey Chessells, a chef with an undeniable talent for making British food sing, the menu was a love letter to seasonal produce and timeless classics. Having honed his skills at renowned spots like Carousel and Mangal II, Harvey’s approach is refreshingly simple- food with heart, no unnecessary frills, just bold flavours and nostalgic inspiration. 

A Welcome Drink to Remember

To begin the evening, guests were treated to a beautifully balanced cocktail featuring Gattertop’s award-winning Vodka Nº1. A rhubarb & pink peppercorn shrub delivered a refreshing burst of vibrant fruit and subtle spice, while the vodka’s clean, crisp profile delivered a creamy depth. With its bright, balanced, and savoury finish, this cocktail set the perfect tone for a six-course feast of expertly crafted dishes.

A Menu Rooted in Tradition & Seasonality

Harvey’s menu was a masterclass in British flavours, designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia while championing the best seasonal ingredients. From rich, comforting dishes to perfectly executed lighter bites, every course told a story of British culinary heritage, reimagined with flair.

Of course, no great meal is complete without exceptional wine pairings, and Cloth’s cellar provided the perfect selections to complement each dish. The combination of Harvey’s cooking and Off The Rack’s signature touch made for a dining experience to remember.
